Palma Dance Center: Nurturing the Art of Dance since 2008

Founded in 2008, Palma Dance Center stands as a beacon of excellence in dance education on the island of Mallorca, embracing the classical essence of ballet and the boundless creativity of contemporary dance. Over the years, our esteemed faculty, comprising of dedicated teachers, both part-time and full-time, has passionately cultivated the talents of our students, guiding them on a transformative journey through the world of dance.

Purpose-Built Studios: Protecting Ambition

The need to establish a permanent home for Pasodos Dance Company, together with our commitment to artistic growth, led us to build our own purpose-built studios in 2008. These state-of-the-art facilities provided a safe and nurturing environment where students refined their skills and expressed their artistry freely. In 2015, we relocated and expanded with the addition of a studio theater, enriching the dance experience by giving students regular performance opportunities. This space allowed young dancers to embrace the stage, gaining confidence and developing presence. In 2025, Pasodos — Palma Dance Center introduced a new auxiliary space: Pasodos — Studio Boutique. Located within our main building, it served both as a bright, welcoming studio and as a dedicated dancewear shop.

Studio 1: The creative space

Studio 1 at Pasodos — Palma Dance Center is a spacious and versatile studio filled with natural light from its large windows, creating an inspiring atmosphere for dancers and teachers alike. The light grey Harlequin dance floor, professional sound system, ballet barres, mirrors, and high ceilings make it the ideal environment for creation, focused training, and memorable dance experiences.

Studio 2: Pasodos — Studio Theater

Studio 2 is our largest space and home to Pasodos Dance Company. Designed as both a studio and a theater, it features inbuilt seating for in-house performances, high ceilings, and professional lighting and sound equipment, along with a dedicated entrance for public events. A black Harlequin dance floor enhances theater blackout moments, while one wall of windows provides natural light and the opposite wall is lined with mirrors. Both can be blacked out during performances, and wings can be installed to create the full studio theater experience. Studio 3: The Studio Boutique

Our newest addition, Studio 3, is a unique corner studio that doubles as both a bright, welcoming dance space and a dedicated dancewear boutique. Featuring a beautiful hazelnut-coloured Harlequin floor, the space is as functional as it is stylish. Since 2025, all uniforms and dance gear have been available on site, with a wide selection of ballet flats, pointe shoes, jazz shoes, leotards, tights, skirts, tutus, men’s wear, and warm-up gear. Members enjoy exclusive discounts, with special offers also available for non-members.

Studio 4: Warm-up Café

The reception area at Pasodos — Palma Dance Center houses our Warm-up Café, a welcoming self-service space where parents can wait, students can prepare for class, or friends can meet for coffee. Even here, the floor is Harlequin — a black and grey checkered design that adds to the studio feel. Surrounded by café tables, lighting, benches, and cushions, the space doubles as a warm-up area with mirrors along one wall and can be converted into a dedicated dance studio when required. Adjacent to the café are two spacious changing areas with showers and lockers, providing comfort and convenience for all our students.
